I live in Winnipeg and my favorite saying (well I made it up) is that when it’s so cold it hurts to go outside is that it’s a “snot freezing nut cruncher” . Have you done the old ‘throw the coffee in the air and watch it freeze as it comes down” trick? That’s always a fun one! That’s when when you’ve really experienced a cold day! Just do a search on youtube, it’s all there :)
